Industry Level Multi-indicator Comparison

info
Introduction
This dashboard presents industry level aggregation of some important parameters studied in the NIS. Here the percentages on an Axis or a table column represent percent of innovative firms, which responded as "Yes" for the corresponding parameter within a industry. When the dashboard loads the first time, parameters shown are "Involvement of firms in the activities pertaining to innovation", as many as 15 parameters can be added across sections to study together by using "Customize" button on top right.

Parallel Coordinates representation of parameters as percentage of firms across industries
This is neither a Line Chart nor a Time Series graph. It is Parallel Coordinates representation wherein individual lines are meant to join multiple dimensions corresponding to same industry. Parallel coordinates are a common way of visualizing high-dimensional geometry and analyzing multivariate data (Source - Wikipedia). Brush on an Axis to filter whole data by the range of value of the corresponding parameter; to remove the filter click anywhere else on the Axis. Brushed window may be dragged or stretched to change range of filter. Here the percentages on an Axis represent percent of innovative firms, which responded as "Yes" for the corresponding parameter in an industry. Double Click on an Axis Label to switch between increasing and decreasing order of values across the Axis. Rearrange Axis by dragging while holding mouse click on corresponding Axis Label.
Tabular representation of parameters as percentage of firms across industries
This table lists data corresponding to Parallel Coordinates above. Hover on a table row to see corresponding line getting highlighted in Parallel Coordinates. When filters are applied either by clicking legends on the top or by brushing on one or more Axis of Parallel Coordinates, this table as well as the Parallel Coordinates show only filtered results. Here the percentages on a table column represent percent of innovative firms, which responded as "Yes" for the corresponding parameter in an industry.
